It is very important to use instruments to test the dust particles of work clothes after cleaning. It is ultimately related to whether the clean clothes after cleaning meet the customer's requirements after shipment. Hearing is believing, seeing is believing, let me share with you the most basic cleanliness test method:

1. The APC+ drum test (HELMKT-DRUMTEST) was invented by the Americans. Its test principle is to simulate the workers in different states after wearing clean clothes, and see how many dust particles shed. Its basic test steps are as follows:
a. Clean the inner and outer surfaces of the drum once with a rag soaked in ethanol, and then turn on the switch between the drum and the APC.
b. Quickly throw the folded clean clothes into the drum. During the test, the zipper of the clean clothes must be fully pulled and in a closed state, with the back of the clothes facing outward and the sleeves covered. (When folding clothes, the clothes should not be in contact with body parts as much as possible except for hands with clean gloves)
c. Use the automatic mode of the APC tester to test continuously for 10 minutes. When testing, two specifications of 0.3 μm and 0.5 μm should be set to record the dust particle content data generated per minute.
d. Turn off the drum switch and APC tester.

2. Filterability test (shielding test) is mainly to test the ability to filter dust particles.
a. First use a particle counter to test the number of dust particles in the environment.
b. Fix the cloth on the sensor, and then test the number of dust particles after filtering.
c. The comparison result of the number of particles shows the ability of the cloth to block particles, so the formula for calculating the filterability of dust particles is as follows: particle filterability=1-(number of dust particles in the environment/number of dust particles after filtering)

After the above tests, we can get the cleanliness test report of the cleanliness, and then compare it with the standard of the environment in which the cleanliness is used, to determine whether the cleanliness can continue to be used.
